Vans The Lizzie Shoes in Black and White. A universally fitting skate shoe designed in partnership with pro skater Lizzie Armanto, the self-titled Vans The Lizzie is a high performance silhouette crafted from a pairing of organic cotton and suede. The first signature skate shoe designed by a woman in 20 years, this high collared shoe has been moulded directly from 3D scans of Lizzie’s feet and features a lowered profile footbed, a leaner outsole and a new vulcanised construction. Part of Vans’ VR3 Checkerboard Globe initiative, natural rubber and biobased foam combine with a micro-Waffle underfoot tread for revolutionary grip and traction. EcoCush cushioning, SickStick rubber compounding and new 3D embossed DURACAP overlays provide increased reinforcement, whilst the recessed eight eyelet lacing system secures the woven ‘Vans x L.E’ tongue in place. Finished with contrast white stitching, bright white collars and with Vans’ ‘Off The Wall Skateboarding’ rubber scabs across each heel.
